Threat of bombs at Conn. airports and congregations are unfounded: officials
During the Israel-Hamas conflict, a number of Jewish houses of worship have been targeted with bomb threats.
An email threatening imminent destruction and loss of life was sent to Congregation Agudas-Achim, a synagogue in Attleboro. The email read, “The bombs will blow up in a few hours.
Local law enforcement authorities confirmed the receipt of this bomb threat email. Massachusetts State Police promptly evacuated the synagogue’s staff and deployed bomb-sniffing dogs to sweep the premises and the surrounding area.
After an exhaustive search, it was determined that the threat was not credible.
Additionally, synagogues in Rhode Island have also reported receiving similar threatening emails, and law enforcement agencies are closely monitoring the situation.
